I loved my stay! The budget twin room was small yet absolutely charming, complete with a nice balcony that offered perfect relaxation. The shower was excellent, making my mornings delightful. This family-run guest house felt like home, with the owners and their friendly cat making my experience unforgettable.

lack of cleanliness

The location is fantastic, nestled in a quiet street within walking distance of Galle Fort, making it easy to explore the area.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired, particularly in the bathroom, where I encountered ants and stains on the bed linens.

friendly atmosphere

fantastic base for exploring galle's historical charm and sights

my stay was wonderful, nestled on a quiet street just minutes from the stunning views at Galle Lighthouse and within a short walk to the vibrant Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct, both made my city strolls so enjoyable and convenient.

Chur, not gonna lie, the room was a tad small and I reckon breakfast options could be better. But, the spot is quiet and only a short stroll to heaps of eateries!

Canny little spot! The breakfast had proper big portions, like. The terrace was nice for a chill after a day exploring. Only downside was the bathroom could've used a bit more cleanin', man. a belter of a stay!

The top-floor room is spacious and includes a nice balcony, perfect for enjoying the breeze after a day out. I also appreciated the lovely terrace area to unwind and take in the scenery.

The cleanliness could use some serious work—ants were a common sight in the bathroom, and there were noticeable stains on the bed linens. The noise level was another issue. it felt like I was staying in someone's busy family home, with loud sounds spilling in from the street and children playing. You can forget about a peaceful night's sleep if that's your thing. Not to mention, the toilet had flushing problems on my last day, which is just inconvenient.

friendly staff

clean room

the location is just perfect, right in the old town so all the best stuff is super close. the staff is really friendly and helpful, even giving us a router for better wi-fi in our top floor room. the bed was clean and comfy. The hot water in the shower was a nice bonus. the breakfast on the terrace was lovely too, great way to start the day!

the room was delightful and offered a lovely balcony to relax. breakfast was generous (try the fresh fruit! ) and the atmosphere was cozy. the staff were warm and accommodating, making us feel at home.
